Work with us
Volunteering
WorldProject volunteering is primarily remote. We collaborate with people who can contribute professional skills, knowledge or experience to specific needs identified within our projects.
Skills that respond to real needs
We do not maintain a generic list of volunteering positions. Our needs change as Kikaya Medical Center, Bioksanland and our community initiatives evolve.
For that reason, we ask anyone interested in collaborating to tell us what they can contribute, in which area they have experience and what kind of support they believe they could provide.
Our team will review the proposal and contact you if your profile matches a current or foreseeable project need.
Where your experience could contribute
- Healthcare & clinical training
- Public health & prevention
- Research
- Agriculture & sustainability
- Engineering & renewable energy
- Communication & audiovisual
- Data & digital tools
- Fundraising & project development
- Other professional expertise
These are examples, not currently advertised vacancies.
On-site volunteering in Uganda
WorldProject does not organise individual volunteering trips or open international volunteering programmes.
On-site placements in Uganda are only available through specific university programmes and previously agreed collaborations with:

University of Barcelona (UB)

Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM)
University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC)
If you are linked to one of these programmes, please follow the application and selection procedures established by your university.
Please do not use the general volunteering form to request an individual trip to Uganda.
Tell us how you would like to contribute
To properly assess your proposal, we need to understand your experience and what you believe you could contribute to WorldProject. Please attach your CV and explain specifically how you would like to collaborate.
